All this area is part of the Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina, delimitated by the sea and the mountains. Its landscape reflects this duality making it a unique natural patrimony. Its typical high cliffs sheltering long sandy beaches most of them deserted mark the sea boundary. The interior is constituted by a succession of green horizons where silence is mostly broken by birds singing.
